Abstract:
In the corporate world there must be a crisis that has a negative impact on the company. The role of PR team is very necessary and determines the success or failure of the company to go through a crisis while at the same time carrying out recovery steps.The aim of this research is to discuss the role of public relations in dealing with the issue of Air Asia crisis on QZ 8501 Medan - Singapore flights. This research was conducted to analyze crisis communication management of Public Relations of Air Asia through pre-crisis, crisis response and post crisis. The analytical method used in this research was qualitative research supported with triangulation method: observation and indepth interview.
