Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to design the project tracker application interface by
applying HCD and Heuristic Evaluation. Project tracking is an improvised form of
developing business processes in the company. With so many project conditions
and the development of manual warehousing and logistics tracker businesses,
hampering the company's efforts to achieve goals in the supply chain. Therefore,
the project tracker interface is present as a design solution developed by
implementing HCD which is superior in terms of defining requirements from the
user side. Through HCD, it can be seen how the design is familiar to the user, in
this case the application. By implementing Heuristic Evaluation, the development
of the project tracker application interface can accommodate the needs of
companies that want their business processes and functional requirements to remain
the main consideration. This research produces 3 functional requirements and
provides access rights for one actor, namely procurement. The test results show that
overall, the interface and interactions provided have met the user's needs to achieve
the goal. However, to realize this interface design, in-depth research and making
application prototypes using the RAD method are needed.
