Abstract:
Nowadays people usually forget about retirement period of their life. in fact, retirement period
can be about 15% of our total lifetime. This research is conducted to observe the influence of
financial literacy and financial behavior toward retirement awareness and retirement planning in
BCA workers, in Kisamaun Branch, Tangerang. In this research, retirement planning acted as
dependent variable. Financial literacy acted as dependent variable. Financial behavior and
retirement awareness acted as both dependent and independent variable. In this study, there were
4 examinations from those independent and dependent variables. The samples of this study were
80 bank workers in Bank Central Asia, Kisamaun Branch in Tangerang using simple random
sampling. This research used single regression or simple linear regression to find out the
influence of each independent variable toward dependent variables. The result of this research
showed that financial literacy has influence to financial behavior and retirement awareness.
Financial behavior and retirement awareness have influence to retirement planning.
