Abstract:
Most of MSMEs has a problem with the quality of human resources. It affects the management of the business thus the MSMEs is difficult to optimally develop. Employee’s job performance by years reduced, there may be several factors that affect the lack of performance, including compensation and the minimum wage which can conclude into incentive which decrease by years on the wane. The objective of this research is to find factors influencing entrepreneurial dimension towards employee’s job performance in Purwakarta, Indonesia. The population of this research is employees who worked in textile manufacturer in Purwakarta. This research is limited to analyze entrepreneurial dimension (pro activeness, risk taking, innovativeness, competitive aggressiveness, autonomy and self-competency) and employee’s job performance. The researcher used quantitative research method by collecting data from 162 respondents selected by probability sampling. By using the multiple linear regression the researcher found that entrepreneurial dimension which are innovativeness, and self-competency collectively give significant influences on employee’s job performance. From a conceptual framework perspective, researcher expect that would be more in another variable related to be analyzed. From data analysis perspective, sampling method in the future should be extended to a broader population, larger sample size and better representative sampling methods.
