Abstract:
Nowadays, the number of women entrepreneurs in Indonesia less than the men entrepreneurs and it reveals questions about the reasons why it happened. The aim of the research is to analyze the women entrepreneurial intention by using the theory of planned behavior (Attitude, Subjective Norms and Perceived Behavioral Control) by Ajzen which measured from education, family and work experiences by the research of Isabella. This research uses quantitative analysis and working through questionnaire that have distributed to 205 respondents selected by Comrey and Lee (1992) that only addressed to women entrepreneurs in Jakarta. Thus, to figure out the result, researcher adopting factor analysis as the way to measure the validity, Cronbach's alpha for reliability and structural equation model as the method of hypothesis testing. Based on the result, it was found that education and work experiences give the positive influence to the theory of planned behavior and it gives impact to the women entrepreneurial intention aside subjective norms. From a conceptual framework perspective, researcher expect that would be more in another variable related to be analyzed. From data analysis perspective, sampling method in the future should be extended to a broader population, larger sample size and better representative sampling methods.
