Abstract:
As technology continues to evolve, ensuring the accuracy of news is more important
than ever. Accurate news is the cornerstone of a well-informed and democratic society. With
society becoming increasingly interconnected through digital channels, the ease and speed of
information circulation have heightened the risk of misinformation. Inaccurate or unverified
news can mislead the public, shape distorted perceptions, and undermine the credibility of news
outlets.
Information validation processes are crucial for ensuring that news is accurate, reliable,
and adheres to journalistic standards. These processes help protect against intentional
misinformation, context distortion, and malicious purposes. Recognizing the challenges posed
by deliberate manipulation or misinterpretation of information, this project aims to develop a
system capable of distinguishing between genuine and fabricated content.
By leveraging advanced Artificial Intelligence algorithms, the proposed solution will analyze
contextual nuances, cross-reference data sources, and employ pattern recognition to identify
and flag potentially deceptive or inaccurate information. This project aims not only to develop
an effective fake news detection system but also to contribute to the ongoing discourse on
media literacy and responsible information consumption.
