Abstract:
The system for borrowing goods between students has become an innovative solution to
maximize the use of resources in the campus environment. This research aims to develop and optimize
a web-based goods lending application specifically designed for students at University. Loans between
students on campus are often done manually, resulting in less efficient and transparent borrowing and
repayment processes. This research aims to develop a web application that can support the process of
borrowing goods between students and lenders. The methodology used in this research includes
requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. This application was developed
using the Laravel framework for the server side and Vue.js for the client side, integrating a Firebase
database to store data about assets, users and loan transactions.
The results of this research indicate that the application developed has scalability capabilities. Efficiency
and transparency in the property lending process. Users can easily search, borrow and return items
through a user-friendly interface. In addition, automatic notification and reminder functions help users
remember return deadlines, and an item status reporting system ensures responsibility for safeguarding
loaned items. Therefore, it is hoped that this web-based commodity loan application can make a positive
contribution to this situation. managing loan items in the campus environment and increasing the sense
of friendship and cooperation between students.
