Abstract:
A documentary is a film that presents facts that happened as they
were without making it up. This documentary works shows the
biography of a street painter in Blok M named Agus Nur. The research
"Applying The Concept Of Thematic Writing For The Production In
Documentary Film Agoes Noor” intended to provide detailed
information using thematic theory because each segment consists of
1 theme so that the audience can understand by focusing on finding
the information conveyed by the resourceperson in detail. The theory
used by the researcher in writing the manuscript is thematic theory.
Thematic theory is a story that is broken down into several theme
groups. The conclusion of this research is the story line which is
divided into 4 segments to make it easier for writers to create story
lines in treatments thematically during pre-production. Apart from
that, the audience can ease understanding in the received the
information from the work of this documentary because each
segment consists of 1 theme.
