Abstract:
Kaizen is very common in a manufacturing company, many studies learn more about the factors, and the effectiveness of Kaizen. Even Kaizen also learned for the implementation and the sustainability of it. The implementation and sustainability of Kaizen is very critical and beneficial for the company to implement Kaizen because Kaizen is like a gate for the other improvement. This research aims to evaluate the dominant factors of Kaizen Implementation in lean supply chain. It show us which factors that should be kept in touch and which factors that should be improved more. The research is held in Indonesia, specifically in PT. Lettami, and the respondent is be 110 employees who had ever joined Kaizen. There are 4 factors that is used to find out the dominant factor of Kaizen Implementation, which are productivity, quality planning, and control, teamwork, employee awarenees and training. In this research used factor analysis methods and for data analyzing is used SPSS 20.0. The analysis shown the dominant factors of Kaizen Implementation and also give us new dominant factors from the productivity, quality planning and control, teamwork, employee awareness and training variables. The result of this research gives 2 new factors, which are Team Awareness, and also Knowledge of Kaizen.
