Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of Availability rate (A), Performance rate (P) and Quality rate (Q) on the level of machine effectiveness is measured by Overall Equipment Effectiveness scale. Research method using quantitative approach thas uses data from machine Horizontal Machining Center (HMC). Data collection is done by documentation method starting from period October 2015 until August 2016. Method of analysis used multiple linear regression to analyze the influence dependent variable (OEE) with three variables that is Availability rate (A), Performance rate (P), and Quality rate (Q). From the t-test that has been made, it known that the Availability rate, Performance rate and Quality rate affect on machine effectiveness significantly. Based on determination coefficient (Adjusted R3) that valued 0.999, it is concluded that the influence percentage of three independent variables that is Availability rate, Performance rate and Quality rate amounted 99.9 % while the rest amounted 0.1% that could be explained by other causes outside model. Found phenomenon contrary to previous research that Quality rate negatively affect to the Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
