Abstract:
This research is focuses on the incentives and motivation as well as their
effectiveness for the employees in President University. And it was considered
upon as timely and vital study concerning the issues about the cash incentives as
employee rewards and its effectiveness in fostering motivation. The focal point
is the concept of incentives and motivation objective is to come up with the
nature, significance and differences embodied to employees in President
University. This research will be using quantitative in design for data collection
and analysis, in order to utilize statistical information gathered from the
proposed research instruments as well as making a variety of subjective
assessments of similar research data. Data were collected through questionnaires
to 123 employees using simple random sampling method to determine the
response of respondents of each variable. Then analyze the data obtained in the
form of quantitative analysis. Quantitative analysis includes validity and
reliability test, weighted mean, factor analysis. The quantitative design
methodology will involve the production of an appropriate questionnaire
designed to elicit questions regarding cash/non-cash incentives for productivity
and motivation so as to generate data on the contemporary employees‘
viewpoint of motivational rewards. Results of the analysis found that from the
factors, cash incentive, non – cash incentive, and noticeable trends, all of them
have a positive and significant influence on employee motivation.
