Abstract:
The objectives of the study are to find out the correlation between job satisfaction and job performance and to find out which element of job satisfaction that has correlation with job performance. The importance of study is to provide information and key of correlation between job satisfaction and job performance, to help in determining the human resource activities and improve understanding on the importance of job satisfaction and its impact on job performance. Human resources management has main role in term of gaining organization’s goal and developing company, starting from manage or organize each division in a company where employee in each division has different characteristic. By knowing each characteristic automatically it will give good impact to its human resource. There are several characteristic that have to be learned by Human Resources Management such as care about job satisfaction and performance of employee. There are two method of collecting the data first, questionnaire about perception of employee (job satisfaction) as primary data, and job performance and company profile as secondary data. The method use of this research is Spearman correlation coefficient and for testing the significant the researcher use Z test. Z test is used for Spearman correlation if the respondent is more than 30. And finally the general result of this research is accepted the null hypothesis it means the correlation between job satisfaction and job performance is not significant. And the rank of spearman correlation coefficient state that the correlation between job satisfaction and job performance is weak in other word in low correlation level.
