Abstract:
China's compulsory one-child policy began in 1967. The implementation of this
policy has played a very important role in the development of feminism in China.
With the family planning policy as the carrier, feminism has successfully helped
Chinese women break through the shackles of Confucian traditional thoughts on
Chinese women. But it is because of the compulsion of the family planning policy
that the population of China decreases rapidly in a short period of time. In this case,
China has rapidly entered an aging society. The conclusion of this study is that the
feminism plays an important role in the population structure, feminism is the push
factor that influence the women's performance on marriage having children. this
change has indirectly impacted the one child policy to the point of the causing
phenomenon of "aging population" The study was conducted from September 2019 to
February 2020. The research uses qualitative methods to explain the data and theory
into the paper. Resources used in this study include books, journals, websites, and
news articles.
