Abstract:
In the world of advocates, the law is the most binding basis and the most important for the advocate itself. And in general, in a law or regulation made in Indonesia, it is clear what is the obligation of an advocate, what is the work of the advocate and the types of advocates who are in Indonesia. In this increasingly advanced age, more and more phenomena and cases have to do with the law. Therefore, it is necessary for people with high standards to be able to solve phenomena and cases that are increasingly appearing up in Indonesia. In this case, the author will outline and explain the standards of the Managing Partner in the law firm structure. Managing Partner is also part of the advocates included above. I therefore took the title "Setting High Standards to Become Managing Partner at a Law Firm in Indonesia: Mohamad Kadri Case Study as Best Managing Partner in Indonesia According to Asian Legal Business Indonesia Awards 2019". In this case the research method used by the author is a doctrinal and empirical method. In terms of using doctrinal methods, the author will outline and explain what the standard stipulated by the managing partner should be applied in accordance with Law No. 18 of 2003 governing the Advocate as well as the Code of Conduct of Advocates governing the Advocates). Which is explained in the regulation that has been concluded that the partner must be able to manage the law office properly, uphold the truth and protect the client well. Then in using empirical methods, the author will interview the source on some questions related to this discussion. The conclusion obtained from this analysis is that being a good managing partner, must be able to have 3 important standards, namely; have a vision of leadership, have good legal knowledge, and have good supporting system (team).
