Abstract:
Music has an important role in a film, but nowadays many Indonesian filmmakers are still less aware of the importance of applying music to films, even though if we look at the history of many filmmakers, especially in Europe, who implemented music in films, music in films triumphed in 1915 in films that entitled Birth of Nation proves that the function of music in film is very important, the function of music in films, among others, can build atmosphere, character development, film identity, and many more, therefore the writer is interested in applying this a piece of sound non-diagetic music scoring in film entitled "Kotak Amal" where the writer wants to give a dramatic and suspense music feel.
