Abstract:
This research discusses The Philippine’s Public Diplomacy in improving Nation Branding through sports activities at the 2019 SEA Games which will have an impact in several sectors. In carrying out these international activities there is a big goal to be able to participate in improving sectors in the Philippine so that there are efforts to develop tourism and infrastructure where there are many opportunities and obstacles in their implementation. This research raises the research question " How The Philippines Strengthened Nation Branding through The 30th SEA Games 2019." To answer this question, researchers used theories related to diplomacy, national interests, the concept of public diplomacy, to Nation Branding. The results showed that in several sectors experienced success and there were also those that had not yet produced results, but the implementation of these activities could affect future prospects and have promising prospects, especially in society, economy, government, and culture.
